We're looking for enthusiastic Student Assistants to join our Facilities Team. In this role, you'll contribute to the smooth running of our educational programs and support various departments within TIAS in a customer-focused and service-oriented manner.

No day is the same and you work in a dynamic environment where you can learn a lot and have a direct impact on the experience of our participants.

Tasks include:

  • Carrying out various administrative and organizational tasks;

  • Ensuring a clean and well-organized learning and working environment;

  • Preparing and tidying up rooms, including arranging coffee and tea facilities (for example, setting out cups and necessary supplies);

  • Welcoming participants upon arrival, guiding them within the location, and creating a hospitable atmosphere;

  • Providing general support to the Program Managers and other departments within TIAS (such as Marketing);

  • Handling ad-hoc tasks and responding flexibly to the needs of the day.

What do we expect from you?

  • You are flexibly available at the following times: early evenings on weekdays, occasionally on weekends, and regularly during the day on weekdays;

  • You have an excellent command of both the Dutch and English languages;

  • You have a strong sense of responsibility and are able to work independently;

  • Qualities such as customer-oriented, hands-on mentality, collegial, spontaneous, and accurate suit you well;

  • You are proficient in using computer systems;

  • You are able to perform light physical tasks, such as rearranging the layout of lecture rooms;

  • We are happy to invest in student assistants who want to grow with us. Therefore, we prefer students who are not yet at the end of their studies or who plan to continue studying.
