Most masterclasses are designed for participants with a bachelor's or master's level of working and thinking, and at least five years of relevant work experience. A TIAS masterclass consists of three classroom days on campus, from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM (including lunch). Beforehand, you prepare with a few articles or a short assignment — expect around 5 hours in total. The classroom days are interactive:

• Brief introductions and theoretical frameworks

• Discussion of current case studies

• Assignments and discussions in small groups

• Reflection on your own professional challenge

This way, you gain new insights quickly and translate them directly into concrete actions for your team and organization.

Often, but not always. Most masterclasses consist of three consecutive days on campus in Tilburg or Utrecht. Some programs have a format of two days plus a return day after a few weeks. In the interim period, you experiment with what you've learned. The program page shows exactly how the three days are scheduled.

On the TIAS campuses in Tilburg and Utrecht, the Netherlands. Both locations are centrally located, easily accessible by car and public transport, and designed for intensive learning days. Each masterclass indicates which campus it takes place on.

Yes. The masterclasses are designed for professionals with busy schedules: three compact classroom days with only about 5 hours of preparation. Many participants find that consciously stepping away from their daily context helps them think more clearly and return with renewed energy.

Single masterclass You choose one program on a specific topic. In three days, you update your knowledge and receive a certificate.

Masterclass Bundle

You choose three masterclasses of your choice within a maximum of two years. You build a coherent learning path and save compared to separate enrollments. Includes study materials and daily arrangements. Payment can be split into two installments.

Executive Impact Program

You want to work purposefully on the development your role and ambitions call for. Together with a Program Adviser, you choose four masterclasses that offer relevant perspectives on that development. One strategic challenge from your own practice runs throughout the program. A dedicated mentor helps you connect insights from the masterclasses to your development, your role, and your strategic challenge.

During the masterclass, you work on a current challenge from your own organization. You test new insights directly on your own case. Together with faculty and fellow participants, you develop scenarios and interventions that fit your context. The result: better-founded decisions, stronger teams, and sustainable improvements.

TIAS is the business school for business and society. Masterclasses address themes such as sustainable value creation, long-term strategy, and engaging stakeholders in decision-making.
